If you’ve been a frequent visitor to my site, you may have noticed that I’ve been posting less frequently. Thanks for your patience - I’m back. I’ve had a lot of stuff on my plate, but it’s been worth it. I hope to share a lot of neat stuff with you shortly, including:

The difficulty of good advice isn’t finding it, but knowing when and how to act on it. We live in uncertain times. The real estate market is pretty shaken up. The US dollar is weak. Etc, etc, ad nauseum. Now seems like a logical time to be fearful and hide in our shell. Are we sure that now is a good time?

Great news!
I’m going to be teaching a couple of mixed martial arts classes at the University of Utah in the fall. I’m super pumped about the whole thing. I’m not a guru by any means, but I’ve got some skills and love to teach. I’m going to overview various techniques of MMA. Striking, the clinch, take downs, groundwork, submissions, conditioning - the whole gamut. This isn’t going to be a full contact, bloody knuckles and mangled face class. We’re going to condition and train - not compete or brawl. If you’re in the SLC area, drop in! You don’t have to be a student and the classes are very inexpensive. Sign up for a class at the U of U website.
